Adolescencia

Adolescence
I see them go
putting their hearts in their gaze,
they walk slowly and when they laugh
they murmur a thousand words without speaking.
I can hear them
we should really love each other
my house is empty, let's go now!
because my garden smells like spring
and my heart fills with anxiety
they shout to the sun that it's time to live
they want to leave their cardboard world
they want to feel love, they want to feel
that warmth that arises from within
when love settles next to you
they want to create their world of illusion
they want to live like this, live like this.
I see them go
holding hands and trembling,
crossing the street and then commenting,
then a caress and a smile.
I hear them talk
Why hide happiness in a garden?
Why conceal a kiss and blush?
Why leave the park, if it's April?
I hear them talk
La, la...
Why leave the park, if it's April?
