The Water's Fine!
Liana Flores
It could be peace or denial
The only thing I can still do is smile
May be unenthusiastic
Most of those highs and lows were made of plastic anyway
My glass is still half empty but the water’s fine
Used to wish I’d wake up inside your mind
But now I kind of like the view from this misty window
I kind of wish that I knew all of this before
I lost myself but oak trees don’t ignore
The circles deep inside that make them strong
Hey, hey, hey, hey!
I'm in between peace and numbness
I'm somewhere floating in the light of summers that are mine
And if I am underplanning
It’s 'cause I'm sure in time all things will vanish anyway
My glass is still half empty but the water’s fine
Used to wish I’d wake up inside your mind
But now I kind of like the view from this misty window
I kind of wish that I knew all of this before
I lost myself but oak trees don’t ignore
The circles deep inside that make them strong
Hey, hey, hey, hey!
The clone of you that still survives
In my clone hotel mind’s a relic sadly passed
Although all changes given time
I’m hoping that with mine
That sparkling image lasts
It could be peace or denial
The only thing I can still do is smile
My glass is still half empty but the water’s fine
Used to wish I'd wake up inside your mind
And now I kind of like the view from this misty window
I kind of wish that I knew all of this before
I lost myself but oak trees don’t ignore
The circles deep inside that make them strong
Hey, hey, hey, hey!
