Otra Vez En La Cruz

I know you already know well the story of the cross
and about Jesus you will know he gave meaning to his story
and that religions are just different formulas
for salvation depending on what you have done in life
some speak the truth some seek control
and the world remains in confusion
we must see the heroes that this world presents
what else will they invent to bring love or freedom
but what freedom will there be if they have denied the truth
that's why there is so much falsehood

We have put Jesus back on the cross with our attitudes
fragmenting his body with our concepts and interpretations
preventing man from the way to the Father
when the requirement is to be tired and hungry
like an echo you hear the voice of Jesus crying out for justice
waiting for shoes, clothes, and food or to see who visits him
perhaps you have not understood
what he is asking is for you to open your eyes
because near you there is a dying Jesus
