A while back it was announced that He’ll come in great glory
The Messiah who was born to save the world one day
He walked through Judea, through valleys and mountains
Healing the sick, not caring who it was
But His own people didn’t accept His works
And they crucified Him without fear, without mercy
He died for mankind but He has risen
I’m waiting for Him because He’s coming back again
He’s coming back again to gather His people
Those who didn’t turn their backs, those who accepted His word
And there all the redeemed will sing
Holy, holy, hallelujah for His great power
When the gathered people are in the heavens
The ones who didn’t accept Him will cry and shout here on Earth
They’ll weep without comfort, wishing for death
But there will be no death for them because He conquered it
And the Holy Spirit who comforts your life today
Will be on that day with the people of God
With thousands of angels, their voices united
On that great day they will shout glory to God
