Pretty Little Devil

The Seductive Dance of Evil in 'Pretty Little Devil'
'Pretty Little Devil' is a song that follows Christian biblical precepts - a portrait of Shaya's own faith - and reveals itself as an anthem of outcry, warning of the dangers of the Devil's dissimulation, and how often we, weak and sinful human beings, fail and fall into temptation, just as we have since Adam and Eve, who caused the original sin
The song begins by characterizing the Devil: as in the Holy Bible, he is a deceiver, a false prophet who, despite trying to camouflage himself among the righteous, is always on the prowl, ready to corrupt and deceive all those who aren't alert enough to notice his profanities. Numerous descriptions of this figure serve as a way of exhorting more and more of your brothers and sisters in the faith to be on their guard against Satan's seductions. This entity is full of evil and even uses very convincing people who are close to Christians, so that each of Christ's elect will sin and forget Jesus, the only one capable of saving and equipping his faithful with the necessary weapons to fight evil.
The act of lighting a cigarette, even if you're not going to smoke, and driving at high speed are not contradictory: On the contrary, they function as metaphors for self-destructive behavior and attempts to escape the painful reality that the narrator faces when he finds himself in times of weakness. It is then that Yeshua, the Savior, needs to be the help for the faithful, because through his sacrifice on the Cross and his resurrection, every sinner can access the Father, no matter how many times they take it.
In this sense, the song can therefore be interpreted as a warning about people who come into our lives with hidden intentions and the impact they can have on our emotional well-being and the practice of our faith. Even if we falter and temporarily give in to vices and bad, sinful habits, God will always have his arms open to welcome us.
