Young K, born Kang Young-hyun, is a South Korean musician, best known as the bassist, vocalist, and main lyricist of the rock band DAY6. He was born on December 19, 1993, in Ilsan, South Korea, and later moved to Canada for his education before returning to pursue his musical career in South Korea. He debuted with DAY6 in 2015 under JYP Entertainment.
