Paper Airplane Breaking Through the Cloudy Sky
How are you doing?
Are you still wearing that sad face?
It’s alright,
I’m used to being let down by now.
These days, the sky doesn’t smile,
I’ve forgotten how to laugh.
You whisper and then you smile,
Come on, lift your face.
On the back of a test where I drew my dreams,
I’ll make a paper airplane and throw it tomorrow.
Someday, this cloudy sky will clear,
And I’ll be able to paint a rainbow.
I’ll take everyone with me.
Look, together,
I still remember the sky we watched.
I told Mive,
We used to fly paper airplanes together.
I want to see that smile again.
I’m just a nobody,
But I’ll draw your portrait.
We really couldn’t help it, we all
Just laughed.
The wind wraps around us,
Gently pushing our backs, and the sky laughs too.
We all become smiles,
Carrying our own dreams,
Riding on this wind.
With my arms wide open,
On the back of a test where I drew my dreams,
I’ll make a paper airplane and throw it tomorrow.
Someday, this cloudy sky will clear,
And I’ll be able to paint a rainbow.
I’ll take everyone with me.
