Minutes before the video store closes
I sneak in, say: Turn off the light
The guy behind the counter opens a secret door
Where he keeps the sinister movies

I know it's a mistake, but I can't help it
I grab a horror one, my hands are shaking
I've seen them all upside down and right side up
Screams, monsters, rats, and a poorly made monster

When I get home, my grandma is having tea
Winking, she asks: How did it go?
I give a thumbs up in approval
And she moves without drawing attention

We go to the attic where the device is
It's a horrendous night to be with

I arrive at the video store, but it's super closed
