Vai Chegar Sua Vez
A Noiva Cadáver
Your Turn Will Come
Hey, dear deceased, your attention
Or whoever among you has hearing
I will tell the story, too melancholic
Of a corpse bride, thirsty for peace
Go, your turn will come
Death will come, no matter the customer
You may even hide and pray
But you won't escape the funeral
Well, our girl was quite a catch
But one day she met a cruel guy
He was handsome, but broke
And the poor girl fell for the villain
Daddy said no, she wouldn't listen
And so the lovebirds plotted to flee
Go, your turn will come
Death will come, no matter the customer
You may even hide and pray
But you won't escape the funeral
They then agreed to meet
In the middle of the night, keeping the secret
Mom's dress served them well
Who has love doesn't need riches
Except for a few things, as a precaution
Like the house's jewels, a million-dollar ring
Near the cemetery, under the flamboyant tree
Dark fog, at three in the morning
She was ready to go, but where was the beau? (And then?)
She waited (and then?)
In the shadows, would he be the guy? (And then?)
Heart beating! (And then?)
And then, dear ones, everything went dark
When she opened her eyes, she was dead, then
The stolen jewels, what a disappointment
The girl swore she would wait
For a true love to come and save her
Always waiting like this, without peace
Until the distinguished gentleman arrived
He joined her and the real story
Of the corpse bride came to an end
Go, your turn will come
Death will come, no matter the customer
You may even hide and pray
But you won't escape the funeral
