Azúcar, pimienta y sal
Abel Aznar
Sugar, Pepper, and Salt
I love her because she's like that,
with her cricket heart.
She likes the same things as me,
coffee and cigarettes.
Sitting at a bar table
or walking without money.
That's how she is,
rebellious and angelic!
That's how she is,
sugar, pepper, and salt!
I love her like that,
with her doll face.
I love her like that,
with her empty little head.
I love her like that,
with her paper dreams.
And even though she's always in the clouds,
I wouldn't change her for anyone,
I feel her like the sun on my skin.
I'm happy in my own way
and I like that she loves me,
just as she is.
I love her difficult as she is,
with her different world.
What does it matter if her world is upside down,
without changing easily.
Nor what they say about me,
because I love her like that.
That's how she is,
rebellious and angelic!
That's how she is,
sugar, pepper, and salt!
