Estar En Mí
Abel Pintos
Being In Me
How many times was the sky at the end better
The desire to lose myself in the darkness
It was easier to destroy than to strengthen
Envy always lurks on the surface
And in the darkness one is always the ace of light
One carries their mistakes and their cross
I always carry gratefully what God gives me
Although a thousand times I doubted if it was close or not
Time upon time erases traces of pain
Dreams, karmas, duels, saints symbols of love
My soul carries the eternal fire of freedom
In its faithful brightness, it is reborn, like the sun and the sea
The blind ghosts that wandered around
Have come to their end without glory (or victories)
Today I don't want more grudges, no,
I just want to be in me.
