Espejo de Mis Ojos

Mirror of My Eyes
We forgot the world at dawn
Only love remains
A sigh, the heartbeat of the rhythm
Let me tell you about the badges of a broken man
He mainly says he’s fine if anyone asks
Hides an absolute pain and dodges it with ease
Inside, four hundred voices paint his aura jade green
He shows anger in his features and expressions
Apologizes unnecessarily in some situations
There he responds to the trauma, but the cure doesn’t answer
Sharp attacks of depression hide beneath his skin
He just wants to be loved, 'cause before
His soul and heart have been shattered time and again
And so he pumps with cracks, sores, and scars
He’s still huge and sees everything with shades
He isolates himself, even surrounded by family
Friends, loved ones, hurt and distressed
He’s really good at hiding the damage with a smile
You see him speeding by, walking or driving
Your eyes
Mirror of my eyes
Mirror of my eyes
Mirror of my being (Oh)
Your eyes
Mirror of my eyes
Mirror of my sigh, the heartbeat of the rhythm
Your eyes
Without further ado, he wonders why things are this way
He asks himself: Is it a curse since I was born?
But no, no, man, he doesn’t have to worry
He just needs to relax now
Let go and take advantage
Peace doesn’t come easy, it’s worked for and it settles
Lighten the burden despite the knives
That have cut his dreams into crumbs and low
It won’t be easy to give in like this
No, he doesn’t even want to try anymore
Your eyes
Mirror of my eyes
Mirror of my eyes
Mirror of my being (Oh)
Your eyes
Mirror of my eyes
Mirror of my sigh, the heartbeat of the rhythm
Your eyes
