To be a pastor is to be an example to the faithful
To be a pastor is to have life on the altar
To be a pastor is to be zealous with the church
Taking care not to scandalize it
To be a pastor is to suffer without complaining
The great pains of this life of afflictions
To be a pastor is to be an unshakable pillar
Remaining firm, constant in prayers
To be a pastor is to preserve sound doctrine
Because the Bible does not require alterations
To be a pastor is to embrace a wayward one
And show them the love of God within
To be a pastor is to give loving advice
To have patience even if someone hurts you
To be a pastor is to dedicate your life
Always looking to the sky, sweet future
