The aged face of Abraham
Showed his pain to those who saw him
And time took away his hope
That one day a son would embrace him

The voice of God he heard one day
Promising to make him a nation
And in obedience he departed
Even without knowing which direction

And faith brought the image of the living God
Which began to be seen in Abraham
And he who could not have children
Became an uncountable multitude

I will look to Abraham
Live the faith that ignores the heart
Sacrifice and obey
To have the image of the living God
