No Temor de Deus

I carry a mark on my soul that I can't remove as long as I exist
This mark makes me strong on the journey, it's the fear of God within me

When evil surrounds me and the old nature wants to bring me down
I feel the fear of God structuring me, so I move forward without fearing evil

I pray, sanctify myself, wait, and trust
I know my God will never fail, victory is mine, I can believe
If I'm in the valley amidst struggles, in this battle I won't lose
In the fear of God, I know I will ultimately triumph

It's in the fear of God that I praise
It's in the fear of God that I walk
It's in the fear of God that I fulfill my role here
It's in the fear of God that I overcome darkness
It's in the fear of God that evil doesn't catch me
It's in the fear of God, I carry my cross until I reach heaven
