Los Cosos De Al Lao
Adriana Varela
The Guys Next Door
The violins sobbed,
The bellows trembled,
And in the night they got lost
The chords of a tango.
A button that plays rounds
So as not to fall asleep
And a gallant who is hidden
Chatting in a hallway.
Suddenly you hear
The rumor of an orchestra,
It's because they are partying
The guys next door.
The girl has returned
Who once left
When she didn't have
Fifteen springs!
Today she has a kid...
And they have baptized him!
That's why the guys next door dance.
The lights have already gone out,
The neighborhood wakes up,
The night with its sadness
The olive tree has taken.
The workers heading to the yoke
Like every morning,
While talking nonsense
A drunk guy passes by.
