Absurd
Listening
while I read
Yesterday I was remembering
your house... my house...
Portal where the moon got bored waiting,
lemon verbena where time perfumes
and passes!
And seeing that we got old
and we are more alone,
I feel a waltz crying on your piano
and I start to think
if it doesn't cry out of love.
It was the first era
that extinguishes the dark circles
and ignites the blush,
and one night - do you remember? - a kiss
under the cherry tree
sealed our love.
Love could have been a knot
but I doubt it could
fight to overcome...
One house was poor, the other rich...
It is easily explained that
it couldn't be.
So, through the memory, I cry
your house... my house...
Your love, which is withered in a golden case
my love, which in the end - if given - remained
without embers...
And seeing that we got old
and everything was in vain,
I feel a waltz crying on your piano
and I start to think
if it doesn't cry out of love.
