Azzurro
Adriano Celentano
Blue
I look for summer all year round
And suddenly here it is
She left for the beaches
And I'm alone up here in the city
I hear whistling above the roofs
An airplane flying away
Blue
The afternoon is too blue
And long for me
I realize
I have no more resources
Without you
And then
I almost take the train
And come, come to you
But the train of desires
In my thoughts goes the other way
It seems like when I was at the oratory
With so much sun, many years ago
Those Sundays alone
In a courtyard, walking
Now I'm more bored than back then
Not even a priest to chat with
Blue
The afternoon is too blue
And long for me
I realize
I have no more resources
Without you
And then
I almost take the train
And come, come to you
But the train of desires
In my thoughts goes the other way
I look for a bit of Africa in the garden
Among the oleander and the baobab
Like I used to do as a child
But there are people here, you can't anymore
They're watering your roses
There's no lion, who knows where it is
Blue
The afternoon is too blue
And long for me
I realize
I have no more resources
Without you
And then
I almost take the train
And come, come to you
But the train of desires
In my thoughts goes the other way
