Ice Cream Complex
After The Rain
Ice Cream Complex
In the city where white breaths twist and turn,
I warm my freezing fingers,
Walking on tiptoes so I don’t wake up
Underneath the mercury lamp.
To see the dark night road,
Let’s meet up high in the tallest tree,
So we can catch a glimpse.
The sidewalks in this silver world
Look like sketches I forgot to finish.
Gathering up Santa's lost items,
I wake up to the scent of winter before I know it.
In a world where the scary sky dances,
Like ice cream spilled by a child,
If stars scatter in the dark night, it’s the start of sweet, sweet dreams.
I cried over love and fake "I love yous," cooling down my slight fever.
Cold dreams must be delicious,
I just can’t stop.
After gulping down, it’s the ice cream complex.
Happiness and unhappiness are just a relationship,
Like cinnamon in an apple pie.
It’s not something you can just eat as is,
There’s not a single thing unnecessary in this world,
Because I feel like I might drop my cheeks on everything cut with a knife and fork.
Surely, you and I, of course,
There are days somewhere we’re needed.
As time passes, why do you have to grow up?
I still want to see wonders and dreams.
If something unpleasant happens, just mix it into today’s support,
From a teaspoon to two.
If I cry, I can laugh as much as I want,
In broad daylight, Santa Maria, I’ll sleep soundly.
And then I’ll wake up again, let’s party!
Secrets, love, and this world,
Are like sorbet that came out of the library.
Once I taste it, I might get hooked, and it scares me a little.
No matter what the continuation by my pillow leads to,
Cold dreams must be delicious,
I just can’t stop, just one more bite.
Let this misfortune last a lifetime,
It’s surely something I need to live tomorrow.
Right? Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey hey hey.
With handbells signaling, dessert is still
Late, it’s already dark, let’s hurry up.
We can’t hold on, we’re all
In this ice cream complex.
