Las Margaritas
Agustin Magaldi
The Daisies
Next to the Paraná River the mockingbirds sing
In the little cliffs and among that greenery of light and color
Little flowers are born, and the most beautiful ones that grow there
Are the daisies that hide with blush
Are the daisies that symbolize love
When the Sun declines, the evening light lights up little lights
And in that thicket, beautiful country girls go to chat
And they usually pluck the daisies
Until they wither in their crazy frenzy
To question them and ask for just a yes
