Mi Pabellon
Agustin Magaldi
My Pavilion
As a Creole and good patriot
I sing to my flag
This cheerful little cat
And now the first one is gone
The Inca's sun shines on my rugged land
Kissing the white and sky-blue flag
It's heaven; Sun and snow placed on a satin
That even the summit of Chimborazo flutters
White as the snow of Aconquija
Sky-blue as the sky that shelters us
Singing to those colors
Pride fills the chest
And in every cat, gentlemen
There is no first without a second!
Sublime and majestic flag of mine
Freedom crowns it; its gallantry
So when the homeland was in danger
And the gaucho mothers offered their sons
I, who was born in your shadow, wish my fate
To lose even my life to defend you
