Vagabundo
Agustin Magaldi
Vagabond
I laugh at sorrows,
I laugh at illusions,
I laugh at beauties,
Of life and love.
Crazy, they all call me
Seeing how I laugh,
Because the world doesn't know
What my pain demands.
(Recited)
If in the collapse of my life
An abyss absorbed me,
Let my lost soul
Mock my affliction.
(Sung)
But sometimes I confuse myself with a cry
When my chest is excited with emotion
And I remember in my moments of distress
Those kisses from my dear little mother.
But it doesn't matter. Laugh, boy!
Laugh..., with your pain in your arms
Don't let the pain increase.
The heart poisons itself!
I also had my days,
I also had my faith,
Just like you all
How many joys I dreamed of!
Past springs
That a beautiful sun illuminated...
They went mercilessly
After false illusions.
(Recited)
Today, a vagabond and lost
I raise my arms in a cross
To bury in oblivion
A whole life without light.
