The Letter
Receiving a letter from you
is the evidence,
of knowing that you remember me
when there is absence,
that you take me into account, to know,
in your thoughts,
in your being and in your way of being
and in your walks.
In the letter that arrives from you,
between quotation marks,
you tell me: "if you could see here,
how wonderful!,
there is a sky painted blue
at the window,
and the house flooded with light
this morning".
An "I love you" is enough to say
with two lines a thousand words of love;
an "I love you" is enough to feel
what is not felt with reason,
tingling in the heart;
when a letter from you arrives
it makes my soul vibrate.
Receiving a letter from you
is the conjuration
of the elves that inhabit in me
with your tenderness,
that force me to unravel
my thoughts,
and already free, let fly
my feelings.
That letter that arrives from you
brings your scents,
the memory of a kiss, that is to say,
speaks your language,
and my soul merges when burning
in that bonfire,
and I feel captive again
of a chimera.
An "I love you" is enough to say
with two lines a thousand words of love;
an "I love you" is enough to feel
what is not felt with reason,
tingling in the heart;
when a letter from you arrives
it makes my soul vibrate.
An "I love you" is enough to feel
what is not felt with reason,
tingling in the heart;
when a letter from you arrives
it makes my soul vibrate.
