Today I wanted to write a poem
With pity for the lead verses I make
And I would make a poem flying so light
A poem of ether, a bird poem

Today I would make a poem so fish
Swimming in your eyes the color of molasses
A blue poem
A marine poem
A fished poem
Taken by storm

Today I would make a poem so fine
Beating on the bell
That I found in a treasure
In a golden dream
A magic poem
Then I would give you
My golden bell
