El Chaman
Aldo Trujillo
The Shaman
Light-skinned, long hair, sporting a beard
And some necklaces that protect me wherever I go
I was baptized by an eleguá, I keep it low-key
At my waist, the eyes of a God peek out
And let me clarify right off the bat, I’m not a stoner
But my sleepy eyes tell a different story
With a relaxed demeanor, rarely worried
I live life my way, going all out
The tinted windows are hard and dark, I never drop
From the Toyota Tacoma that I drive around
A lot of folks get freaked out when I show up
These tattoos represent danger, and I’m not
I don’t act tough or high and mighty
I’m zero trouble, I offer my friendship
I’m a pro at spinning, I used to box
But when it comes to weapons, I’m a badass too
The hard times passed six years ago
I escaped the war, everything has changed
I used to roll hard in cars, with armor and a helmet
An M4 with magazines, and a Glock up close
Experience from the grind, I survived the beatdowns
Scars and marks that I carry
Today I value what I earn because I lost some friends
My buddies fell in their line of work
I’m not afraid of my fate, it clears my path
It’s an arrow that flies straight and true
And I don’t fear the enemy because I’m a friend
Though there are some I’ve helped who forgot
For the dogs, we’re the wolves, and we go all out
Someone up high gives me blessings
Without wasting much breath, I live my life to the fullest
Many from their shadows give me protection
If I celebrate, it’s once in a while, and not too wild
In the stereo, you can hear Post Malone tracks
With few eyes by my side, I’m pretty quiet
Those who follow me are reliable and of great worth
I’ve been good people, though sometimes I’m the devil
I have friends who are truly admirable
I’ve always shown that the quiet one eats more
And appearances are just a trick
And once I got stopped, but they couldn’t handle it
With the gear I carry, I’m always ready to roll
And my bro is always jumping in, lining things up
Anyone who messes with us gets introduced to the Colt hammer
The Camaro’s all tuned up with the cap tilted
We’re leaving them in a cloud of smoke
I say goodbye while greeting, wherever I go, I have backup
I’ve got the corporation clearly marked.
