You endured so many tears since I was a child
Thanks to you, I never knew what cold was
You raised me with good values every day
I was poor but with your love, I felt like a millionaire

Thank you mother, you fought so much in life
Never was there a missing plate of food on the table
You raised me and never had to ask for help
You took care of my life, better than yours

If I felt bad because of an illness
You would accompany me to the hospital without saying much
You would wait there with total boredom
All to know if I was healthy and happy

You helped me study to pass each grade
You went back to studying for me, you always helped me
You would finish my tasks when I was tired
Even though studying was something you had forgotten

When I was a child, I never knew the love you had for me
Now as an adult, I know that your love was everything
I understood the moments when you yelled at me
It was for my own good so that nothing would happen to me

You always raised me without any malice
More than my mother, you are my best friend
You never told anyone about what was happening to me
You are an example to follow of a hardworking mother

You always caught me in all my falls
It would be an understatement if I say thank you for giving me life
You sacrificed part of your freedom for me
I would need another life to thank you for what you gave me

Thanks to you, mother, I know what a treasure is
And it's not about having money or gold
I tell you this with tears of emotion
The treasure is what one keeps in their heart

That's what you taught me since I was born
To help those in need and make them happy
When I was a child, you gave everything for me
Now as an adult, I would give everything for you

You knew how to see beyond my mischief
You also knew how to see beyond my craziness
When my love life was dark
You would say, calm down, time heals everything

Mother, in my life, I would tell you many things
Thanks to you, I learned to be a person
In difficult times, one must remain calm
Mother, you always took care of me in body and soul

You always caught me in all my falls
