Pequeños Inconvenientes

Little Inconveniences
You said to give you a few days and I’d stop loving you
That someone else could take your place
I think I overdid it there
That anyone would give me what you gave me
That the kisses from your lips could easily be forgotten
And trying to get over your love
I had a few little inconveniences
Your memory crossed my mind everywhere
I thought I saw you when I was walking down the street
I always had the feeling I’d hear your voice
And run to you to get you back
The drinking makes me feel the opposite
Instead of not caring anymore, I miss you more
There are nights I get anxious because I can’t touch you
And I don’t keep going because I never finish
They’re not excuses, they’re more like inconveniences
That’s why I haven’t moved on
That anyone would give me what you gave me
That the kisses from your lips could easily be forgotten
And trying to get over your love
I had a few little inconveniences
Your memory crossed my mind everywhere
I thought I saw you when I was walking down the street
I always had the feeling I’d hear your voice
And run to you to get you back
The drinking makes me feel the opposite
Instead of not caring anymore, I miss you more
There are nights I get anxious because I can’t touch you
And I don’t keep going because I never finish
They’re not excuses, they’re more like inconveniences
That’s why I haven’t moved on
