When I said love
it wasn't just sex that swept me away
it was putting everything in with my soul
it was giving it a little more than just desire.

it was having faith in us every morning
your light in me and the sun was extra
it was your skin, my skin when I loved you.
There was no mistake

there's so much language to talk about love
and the one you understand...I don't get it.
