Pasadoble de Los Yestarday
Alejandro Sanz
Pasodoble of The Yestarday
When on a catwalk
A model appears
With jacket and sequins
And a velvet skirt.
With impeccable strides
And Chanel perfumes
I feel like asking her
Which carnival group she's from.
They are fantastic and divine
Made of plastic and silicone
They are as feminine
As a mop handle
They passionately give themselves
To foolish men
Because they are in love
With money and jewels.
I prefer to keep looking
For the flaws and charms
Of a wild and brave lady,
True as war
Messy as the earth
And rogue like the people,
I prefer a partner
Perfumed with wood
With leather and with words.
Female,
A woman to me should be
Much more than a female
Who despises ties and Chanel
Money and lies
Just for that woman
My death will be worth more than my life.
I know people think
That hippies are cheeky
Freeloaders without shame
Long-haired and scruffy.
Spoiled rich kids
Who now want to act cool
Pa pa ra pa pa ra pa pa
Po ji po that's what there is.
Look how cheeky I am
That I even left the company
When I saw that culture
Is the greatest wealth.
Long-haired and yet
Even if it's useless
I prefer long hair
To shaved heads.
And I don't care if they tell me
That I'm a live-life-to-the-fullest
Because I live without commitment,
I'm not ashamed of anything
I only have one life
I don't believe in paradise,
For me, it's much more cheeky
The one who accuses me of scruffy
With drool full of whiskey.
I am, whatever you want me to be
But I'm not shameless,
When I see in this filthy humanity
So many nameless crimes,
Of shameless ones, not to mention
I'm ashamed to be a man.
