Un Charquito de Estrellas
Alejandro Sanz
A Puddle of Stars
I shipwrecked in a puddle of stars,
I just wanted to sail, put my desires as sails
And the sea I filled crying for her.
A dream anchored in the moon,
I couldn't see any shore and, normal
That I shipwrecked by her side,
Between the foam that caresses and overwhelms;
Like a verse from a poem I wrote,
Your footprints are being erased.
My illusion is the kite that rises
And crashes against me, against me, against me.
And where are the truly icy seas?
And that breeze that slowly put out the sun,
Where did it go? the magical nights, do you remember?,
Of puddles and stars.
Tonight the moon was going to shine,
But the storm scared her.
Tomorrow, when the sun rises,
It will laugh at her, but not at us.
Tonight there are thousands of stars
And a magical and radiant full moon.
And that puddle of stars
Turned out to be a desert:
Just a mirage of sand and salt,
Of laughs truly today.
Release the sails and you'll see my kite
That rises and goes, goes, goes...
And where are the truly warm dreams?
And the storms of caresses
Where the hurricane, loving us.
The night is big and eternal,
There are no puddles anymore; only stars.
Tonight the moon will shine,
Because the storm is our love, love, love.
Tomorrow, when the sun rises; it will cry out of envy
For her and for what happened.
Tonight there are thousands of stars
And a magical and radiant full moon
Where are the truly seas?.
And the storms of caresses where the hurricane?.
Where are the truly seas?.
And the storms of caresses where the hurricane?
Yeah, no, no, no.
