It's a clear night, Jacob ran away from his home
And he's lying on a stone, trying to understand why
And in an instant, the sky opens up far away
There are angels walking on this stairway that connects earth to heaven
The sky opens up for me when I'm in prayer
Jesus from the stairway sees me, extends His hand to me
