Noite Colorida

Another day sitting on the side of the road
Beyond the horizon, I saw the infinite
The sky was very sad when the sun left it
An ocean of stars turned in seconds.

I rhymed some verses thinking about life
And then I traveled with my eyes closed
I found rainbows in the dark sky
I tore up some dreams buried by me
I found many others in the colorful sky

I felt a lot of peace between the sky and the earth
I began to understand that the night is necessary
Looking inside myself, I realized
Only after crying comes laughter

I tried to hold onto a little bit of the wind
Bitter sadness then I felt
I was barely able to even see it
To the darkness of the night I surrendered my desires
I felt even weaker

Carrying with me the anguish of the darkness
A simple human in me was found
After trying and trying many times
I looked up and Jesus was looking at me

The sun of comfort was born again
The darkness was not eternal for me
Night and day are no longer barriers
From that moment on, I lived.
