Cordillera

Mountain Range
I was born in the mountain range
I live between mercury and silver
I swim among false promises
I drink the water from the guanaco
That the cops give me
Every time I think something
Mountain range tell us the truth
Is this land a place
That doesn't want us
Nor will let us speak
Think, march, get drunk
With the dance so this doesn't end here
And I want to fight
Mercury lies and the truth
Is thrown from a puma to the sea
To that sea that still
Bathes the children on the coast
And the singers sing
La-la-la-la-la
Look how the candidates smile at us
Presidential candidates
How they deceive the people
Mountain range tell us the truth
Is this land a place that doesn't
Want us and won't let us speak
Think, march, get drunk
With the dance so this doesn't end here
And I want to fight
Mercury lies and the truth
Felt from a coma to the sea
To that sea that still
Bathes the children on the coast
And the singers sing la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la
