Another Day More
It's already past six when the awakening comes,
Today she wears the same sweater, although with some extra tears.
After cleaning a bit of the dust that has settled in the home,
She cleans a bit of her failure, and her urge to cry...
To see how her little one wakes up so happily,
'...if you knew, my love, the day that awaits us...'
And in her reality she will see the city grow,
And its people in their worlds will come and go,
While she, in her role, will continue to watch
Another day less in her life, another day more...
another day more.
It was pain that gave her advice on how to love,
To look at the heart, and never look back...
But sometimes injustice takes control of everything,
And on the corner of 'Pokhara' she can see us both.
I joke with my people: '...this afternoon I'll pay...'
While she sees that something is dying inside her...
And in her reality she will see the city grow,
And its people in their worlds will come and go,
While she, in her role, will continue to watch
Another day less in her life, another day more....
In her reality she will see the city grow,
And its people in their worlds will come and go,
While she, in her role, will continue to watch
Another day less in her life, another day more...
another day more.
