Meu Grande Héroi
Alexandre Bernardino
My Big Hero
Wounded there on the ground was I
Waiting for someone to come help me
Who passed by me didn't help
Even seeing me on the verge of dying
They told me that while I was there
A traveler with a kind heart
Seeing me fallen on that ground
Was filled with deep compassion
And looked, and cried, lovingly spoke to me
It's going to be alright, look, the worst is over
Put me in your arms, healed my wounds
He pulled me from the clutches of death
His voice so gentle I can hear
Saying it wasn't the end yet
He saved my life and left
My big hero
My big hero didn't have a white horse
Shiny armor, nor sword, nor shield
My big hero was humble, I know well
But in heaven, he was king, exclusive owner of everything
My big hero truly changed my fate
Snatched me from the hands of death and I didn't even see
His face, my big hero, my most faithful friend
Saved me and went to heaven, Jesus Christ is his name
My Big hero, he is Jesus
