La unitaria

(Zamba)

If God lends me life,
and the Archangel San Gabriel,
I will go look for him in Lavalle,
to fight for him.

I'll wear a light blue poncho,
taking risks on the roads,
and if I come across the Reds,
I will shake destiny.

This zamba is from the old days,
times of walking, singing, and fighting,
the swords and guitars,
are still bleeding.

My dark-skinned one follows his star,
my spear his heart,
fighting in the entanglements,
we will be one.

I like being a Unitarian
and walking singing my fate,
if I offer my skin dearly,
maybe death will be scared.
