Vea patrón (o Patrón)
Alfredo Zitarrosa
See boss (or Boss)
(Milonga)
Boss, that shadow shivering behind his cattle,
footprint and rags, eating sometimes;
boss, for his interests,
there goes his pawn.
Boss, that shadow raising his sheds,
braided sweat with other pawns;
boss, for his ambitions,
there goes his pawn.
Boss, that shadow flesh in the sun that breaks him,
with tiny salary, his dark land;
boss, and that you enjoy,
there goes his pawn.
Boss, that shadow, like a new Christ walking,
stone in the chest, cross on the back;
boss, and coughing anger,
there goes his pawn.
Boss, one shadow and another shadow make a storm,
and the gale has no reins,
boss, there is no one to stop him;
there goes his pawn.
Boss, if that shadow bursts into light and sees it advancing,
like a dawn, in his throat,
boss, it turns into a dagger,
that's his pawn.
