I await the joyful day when Christ will return
For He will come to the world soon and snatch us away

The coming of Jesus will be the remedy for the pain
That always afflicts this poor sinful world
Every tear will be wiped away by our Savior

The saints will arrive in Zion with eternal joy
And on the holy mountain, nothing harms or does wrong
For they will all know God equally

Sin, sorrow, and death will cease in this world
Martyrs and saints will reign with Jesus forever
Every soul will enjoy perfect peace, without worry
