For a long time I directed my life
In search of adventure
Like a racing driver
Who didn't have a license
Without a clue, I stepped it deep

Speed bumps didn't stop me

Several times I skidded, left the track and climbed onto the sidewalk

Living the real adventure
On this trip I'm safe

I trusted him with my destiny
And I don't take the wheel anymore
Jesus directs my life
And I'm calm in the back seat
