A Sementinha

The Little Seed
The sower went out to sow
He threw the little seed to cultivate the land
Some of the seed fell by the wayside
The birds came, started pecking
Shoo, shoo, shoo, shoo, shoo, little bird!
Let the little seed cultivate the land
Shoo, shoo, shoo, shoo, shoo, little bird!
Let the little seed cultivate the land
Some seeds fell among the stones
They became so weak and died in the heat
Another part fell among the thorns
And they were suffocated, pricked. What a horror!
Phew, phew, phew! What scorching sun!
It was he who dried up my little seed
Phew, phew, phew! What cheeky thorn!
It pricked and suffocated my little seed
Then, the sower threw it on good soil
And finally, the little seed managed to bear fruit
Then it multiplied, forming an orchard
And the Sower could rejoice
Thump, thump, thump, your little heart
Is the good soil for the seed to flourish
Thump, thump, thump, Jesus throws the seed
But it only bears fruit if you truly believe
