It all started with Mary and Joseph
In a place far from here
Called Nazareth
And God sent to Mary
A message through the angel Gabriel
That she would give birth
To a being from up above
They had to flee from Herod
The king of Judea
Mary then conceived
Her child in Bethlehem
Angels appeared in the sky
And a star of bright light
Because Jesus was born
Because Jesus was born
Glory to God in the highest
Peace on Earth
To men of good will
Glory to God in the highest
The scriptures were fulfilled
