A Crucificação

The Crucifixion
The crucifixion of my Jesus
Makes me feel in my heart
The great pain
That he suffered there on the cross
They condemned him
Without doing anything, he remained silent
He suffered carrying on himself
My sin and his
They exchanged him for Barabbas, they scourged him
They despised him
They took him to death
And placed a crown of thorns on his head
They mocked and said: Behold the king of the Jews
They struck his face, wounded the master
Took him to crucifixion
Crucify, crucify
Crucify, crucify
Crucify, crucify
Crucify
No, no, no, no, the master no
Crucify, crucify
Crucify, crucify
My Jesus, no, no, no, no, no
Crucify, crucify
And he expired
Crucify
The love of Jesus is so great
That there on the cross he endured the nails
In his hands and feet
The great multitude despised him
But even so he cried out to the father
To forgive them
And he expired
And behold, the veil of the temple was torn
Darkness came there, everything became dark
The earth trembled, the rocks split
Saints were resurrected
Today my lord has all the power
On earth and in heaven
The love of Jesus is so great
That there on the cross he endured the nails
In his hands and feet
The great multitude despised him
But even so he cried out to the father
To forgive them
And he expired
But he rose
Hallelujah
