Surdo e Mudo
Alisson Santos
Deaf and Mute
One day a child at the sisters' congress
Was deaf and couldn't worship
But while the group sang to God
The Spirit's presence visited the church
Someone couldn't take it and started to jump
Another couldn't handle it and started to march
Another was a bit crazier and started to run
And the deaf child began to watch
(What is this?)
And in sign language asked her mom
Mom, why did these people jump?
And on the other side, her mom replied
My child, this is the power of God
And the curious boy began to speak
I can't talk, I can't hear, but I want to jump
I can't talk, I can't hear, but I want to march
Find a way, my dear mom, I want to worship
And when mom got home
She grabbed a notebook from the cabinet
In a few minutes, she wrote on the paper
And then tore the paper into little pieces
Put them in a little bag
And handed it to her son
And looking into his eyes, she began to say
Tomorrow at church when someone jumps
You fill your hands with paper and throw it in the air
Tomorrow at church when someone marches
You fill your hands with paper and throw it in the air
It's with paper, oh my child, that you will worship
The next day at church, the boy arrived
And sat in the front rows
He was watching to see who would jump
He was eager to throw paper in the air
When someone jumped, he threw paper
When someone marched, he threw paper
When someone ran, he threw paper
Suddenly, a worker approached
And the mother noticed the worker arguing with the boy
The mother stood up and went to talk to the worker
Sir, why did you argue with my child?
And the furious worker began to speak
Did you not teach your child any manners?
This is not a place to throw paper on the floor
And a tear rolled down the mother's face
The worker was startled
And out of curiosity, he crouched down
Picked up paper from the floor and began to read
When he read it, a tear rolled down his face
The paper said glory to God
The paper said hallelujah
The paper said blessed be the name of the Lord
I may be deaf, but I'm a worshiper
(Go)
I may be deaf, but I'm a worshiper
I, I may be deaf, but I'm a worshiper
Open your mouth to worship
Raise your hands to worship
You have hands and don't raise them
You have legs and don't jump
You have everything and don't worship the name of the Lord
You have health and only complain
You have a house and only complain
You have everything and don't worship the name of the Lord
If you need paper, I will look for it
If you need a bag, I will give it to you
But if you have a mouth, open it to worship
But if you have hands, raise them to worship
While you worship, God enters your house
While you worship, God closes that pit
While you worship, that lie falls
While you worship, that sickness leaves
Raise your hand
Receive this anointing
My God brought you here to lift you up
No one imagined you would worship
You will walk
You will walk
You will walk (worship)
Worship
Worship
While you worship, He works for you
