Honduras, my beloved and cherished land
In this year you suffered a lot, you were greatly attacked
Pandemic hurricanes, corruption has you tied
Today you are on your knees but never defeated

It has been very sad to hear all this news
My people on the streets suffering from lack of food
Sleeping on the ground without even a blanket
Children playing in the mud, none of this they deserved

It hurts in the soul to have lost a friend or family member
A global disease came to take their lives
Our planet in mourning, all this is hard to accept
My heart asks God for this to end

I have 5 stars marked inside my heart
With a homeland that groans to rise up from today
And although it has been difficult due to so much corruption
The Honduran does not live from man but from God

And it is here where I will rise up
In the name of my God
Today I surrender my life

From now on we rise up from this
Let's fight for our lives, for dreams tirelessly
Let's look to the sky because we will reach the top
My nation in unity will not be a country in agony

This crisis we are living through will not kill me
For me, today it becomes an opportunity
A new opportunity to rise up again
Today stronger than ever I decide to move forward

No matter the cost and whatever happens
I will fight until the end until my strength wears out
Today for all of Honduras and for my generations
I will ask God to lift up all nations

And this letter is written for all of my Honduras
We will rise up in God, let's have no doubt about that
And although the situation may become tough
The people saving the people will break free from the chains

And it is here where I will rise up
In the name of my God
