In the beginning it was simple, I walked alone
I walked through the streets very slowly
I was fine in the silence and in the hustle and bustle
I drank certainties in a glass of wine
Little by little, a step is taken, one becomes a vagabond
Fear is turned around, the world is turned around
It is said of the past that it is dying
The breath is drunk in a bottomless glass
And an old phrase comes to mind
Today is the first day of the rest of your life

Then comes the fatigue and the body weakens
One looks inside and there is little left
Rest is requested no matter how short
Doubts are erased in a sea of beer
At the end of a choice, a challenge is made
Life is faced from end to end
One navigates without sea, without sail or ship
Courage is drunk even from an empty glass
