Um Homem, Um Tanque, Uma Cama

A man, a tank, a bed
This was the scene that happened every day in Bethesda
One day, the scene changes, as a Nazarene man appeared
Now it was a man, a tank, a bed, and the Son of God
Who asks him: Do you want to be healed?
Then the man said: Me?

My problem is the tank, my turn has passed
It was a man, in a bed, blaming the tank
But then, the Lord said: Get up, forget the tank and never come back here
But you will have to carry the bed
So as not to forget your past
Nor who healed you

There are moments when Jesus makes us carry the bed
So as not to forget our past
Nor where He took us from
The man was in Jerusalem, no longer dependent on anyone
But the order was to carry the bed, so he did
Listen to the voice of God that tells you today, never forget your roots

Do not forget where you came from, you were a man in the tank

Give Glory to Him, Exalt Him
For through the bed, you will see the Glory of God

You can sing, but the glory belongs to God
You can preach, but the glory belongs to God
You can grow, but the glory belongs to God
You can get rich, but the glory belongs to God

You can sing, but the glory belongs to God
You can preach, but the glory belongs to God

Give Glory to Him, Exalt Him
For through the bed, you will see the Glory of God

And if it happens that God uses you, to win lives wherever you go
And as you extend your hand, healing, miracles

You were a man in the tank but He saw you, He healed you
Told you to walk, you look all nice
But the bed is to carry
To not forget who healed you, to not forget who extended the hand to you

Give glory to Him, exalt Him
For through the bed, you will see the Glory of God
