Shooting Star
I saw her walking on a boulevard, she passed by like a shooting star,
when I saw her, I didn't know what to do, because she was so beautiful.
For a month, I couldn't sleep, I couldn't get her out of my mind
and what was I going to do, a strange power, I had seen in her.
Her eyes said it all, she was an angel and I was Quasimodo
hidden in a bell tower, driving myself crazy (driving myself crazy)
I went out looking for her in the streets, visiting twenty thousand places
I knew that somewhere, she was there
I went out looking for her in history, I had seen her in a thousand memories
I had known her forever, I knew it was her.
A witch advised me, that forgetting her was better,
but I could never forget her, she was in my head.
A hypnotist made me travel, almost two thousand years back,
where I saw her, and I was so happy, she was my partner.
I ran out to look for her, I knew she was waiting for me,
I wanted to tell her everything, and finally love her, (and finally love her)
I went out looking for her among the cars, desperately looking for any trace,
I spent time asking where she was,
the years began to pass, I lost hair and became thin,
the doctors advised me, to forget about her.
And at the end of the day, she was just a shooting star,
in the hospitals, I forgot about her,
a nurse brings pills to make me sleep,
what they don't know is that when I dream, I am with her.
