Angel Caido
Alvaro Torres
Fallen Angel
I used to live in the paradise of her heart
Just like an angel dwelled in the heavens
Of her illusion
Until one day, as simple mortal as I am
I betrayed her love by touching another skin.
Since then, I felt her hands just like her voice
And in her gaze, I no longer find the light
That once illuminated me
And the worst part is that in the midst
Of so much pain
I recognize that I have no forgiveness.
Fallen angel
Far from the kingdom that was only mine
I have no hope even though it's rare for humans
I know I will find love in the punishment.
Fallen angel
From being loved, I have passed into oblivion
Today I feel ashamed for failing her
And I cry the sorrow of having lost her.
Fallen angel.
I wonder what I would have done in her place
Surely the same as she did
And much more
And the worst part is that in the midst
Of so much pain
I recognize that I have no forgiveness.
Fallen angel
Far from the kingdom that was only mine
I have no hope even though it's rare for humans
I know I will die in the punishment.
Fallen angel
From being loved, I have passed into oblivion
Today I feel ashamed for failing her
And I cry the sorrow of having lost her.
Fallen angel
Far from the kingdom that was only mine
I have no hope even though it's rare for humans
I know I will die in the punishment.
Fallen angel
From being loved, I have passed into oblivion.
