When the afternoon falls and the night approaches
loneliness invades me in airs of sadness
and looking at the horizon a thousand sighs arise
remembering moments that you and I shared.

And I keep thinking about what will become of your life
do you remember that you loved me someday?
for my part, I tell you that I have forgotten the bad
and I keep the beauty that love could give us.

But to forget, what is said to forget
is not easy when there has been intense love
maybe someday I won't remember you again
but I feel that day is far away.

Because to forget, what is said to forget
maybe with the passage of time I will achieve it
what I lived through I carry so deep inside
