Naufrágio
Amália Rodrigues
Shipwreck
I put my Dream on the ship
And the ship on top of the Sea
Then I opened the Sea with my hands (with my hands)
For my dream to Shipwreck
My hands are still wet
From the blue, (from the blue) of the half-open waves
And the color that runs from my fingers
Colors the desert sands
The wind is coming from afar
The night bends from the cold
Underwater it is dying
My dream (is dying) inside the ship
I will cry, as much as necessary
To make (to make) the sea grow
And my ship reach the bottom
And my dream disappear
