The king Sennacherib confronted Israel
Sent a letter to Hezekiah
Disrespecting your God, saying
Who will deliver you from the power of my hands?
For more powerful nations
I have already made fall to the ground

And Hezekiah sent the letter back to its sender
For the enemy did not confront him
But addressed his own God
And covered himself in sackcloth
Tore his clothes in the temple and entered
He stretched out the letter to the Heavens
And made the following prayer to the Lord

Oh Lord, God of Israel
Who dwells among the Cherubim
Hear the prayer of your servant
And rise up for the sake of Israel
Incline and see the terrible insult of Sennacherib
Which came with his gods
To confront You, oh living God
Deliver us from his mighty hands
So that all the earth, peoples may see
That You are the only God

God rose from the throne and promptly replied
Sent a powerful Angel and the sword descended
185 thousand men from the Assyrian army died
Sennacherib then fled to try to hide
But the eyes of God can see everything
So his sons killed him before the gods
Playing with God, you have to die

But do not play with Jehovah
Do not insult His name, He is a consuming fire
With judgment He will come down, the proud, the arrogant
The daring He will bring down, and the humble He will exalt
Do not touch His anointed ones, do not afflict the chosen ones
The Church is the apple of Jehovah's eye
He is the owner of this people, to touch you first
